Our Managing Trustees Lions Basantraj Mehta and Lion Rajnikant Shah are pillars of strength, support and inspiration. Lion Basantraj Mehta, the FIRST CHAIRMAN of Lions Hospital, who has always focused on what he wants rather than what he does not want, a great technocrat, is a true inspiration for generations to come, predominantly an enormous donor himself while getting major donors viz, Mr Rajesh Jhunjhunwala and Mrs. K.K Agarwal. Lion Rajinikant Shah, a Chartered Accountant by profession, comes across as a strong support system by taking initiative and responsibility in his relevant field by leading the entire Finance and Audit with compliances taken care of at all levels.
Positions to the Board of Trustees are filled by fair and regular elections every three years as per the norms regulated by the Charity Commission with we being a Charitable Hospital. The positions each Board Member holds is justified by the time they block for priorities in their calendar to focus on deep work for the growth and good will of the Hospital. The Hospital provides comprehensive medical care with its multi-pronged approach ranging from Out-patient Services, In-patient Services, Maternity and Gynecology services, NICU and Pediatric services, Surgical Care of all kinds e.g. Knee Replacement, Laparoscopic Surgeries, Dental Care, Physiotherapy, Sonography, Radiology, Dialysis, Cardiology, Ophthalmology including Cataract and Retina surgeries, Pathology, Pharmacy and Optical Shop. The pandemic eradication year has been the year of global solidarity with the only agenda to end the Covid-19 Pandemic to launch the vaccination drive. With world leaders and our nation standing united in this cause to make vaccines available to all, we at Lions Hospital are one of the government approved authorized Covid-19 vaccination centers and have procured our Covishield doses of vaccines directly from the Serum Institute of India. Going by our mission to be cheaper than prevailing market rates, we subsided the vaccine rates to lesser than government stipulated sale prices.
